Rachel Layko is a Dangermond Fellow working in Miami, FloridaÌýand Williamsburg, Virginia. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in May 2019 with aÌýdegree in biology and a minor in marine science. LaykoÌýenjoys sharing her love of nature through education and volunteered as an Eco-Ambasador at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and also tutored for four years. LaykoÌýlooks forward to leveraging geospatial tools to enhance data analysis and to share conservation stories during her time as a Fellow.ÌýWhen she is not working, LaykoÌýloves running, playing volleyball, watching hockey and going to the beach.
