Avak Kahramanian is joining ÃÛèÖAPP after spending the last fiveÌýyears in Ethiopia, where he served as an educator with theÌýPeace Corps. As a Fund IIÌýApprentice, Kahramanian will focus on policy and government affairs.ÌýAfter serving in Ethiopia, Avak worked out of the Peace Corps HeadquartersÌýin Washington D.C.ÌýKahramanian joins the Government Affairs team withÌýCapitol Hill experienceÌýfor his home state Senator from Michigan. He hopes toÌýhelp with advocacy efforts, research, and coordination. His interests lie in the intersection of environmental issues and foreign policy. Kahramanian is also pursuing hisÌýMasters degree atÌýJohns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington D.C.
