ÃÛèÖAPP Brings the Birds to People During the Pandemic

From virtual birding shows to birdy bedtime stories, here's how ÃÛèÖAPP is reaching people where they are.

It's been a rough month and a half for people who love birds and exploring the outdoors, and at times it felt like we were going to miss spring migration altogether. But as everyone adjusted to staying at home and social distancing, ÃÛèÖAPP staff across the country used these new challenges as opportunities to reach people where they are—in their homes and backyards and online.

The effort took a lot of ingenuity, dedication, and a willingness to experiment, but the results were wildly popular and were well-worth the effort to create them. We’ve gathered a few of our favorite examples of digital creativity from around the ÃÛèÖAPP network, from birdy ASMR to virtual snack hours to informative webinars.
